Scope and Content of the Southern Labor Archives Photographs

The photograph collections include largely black-and-white and color photographs, but also include slides, negatives, and other photograpic formats. The date range is approximately 1880-1990. Included are photographs of union members, leaders, and advocates performing day-to-day and union activities: work, strikes, marches, meetings, celebrations, ceremonies, contract signings, conventions, and presentations.
