Biographical or historical note
David Kunstler was Eastern's Senior Vice President of Planning and maintained the responsibilities of the company's economic planning, inventory control and schedules. He came to Eastern in 1963 with the experience of a research analyst in a brokerage firm. The multitude of early positions within Eastern helped to refine his skill set for the position of Vice President of Planning. He earned a bachelors degree in mathematics and his graduate degree in business administration. The experiences gained from his time in the United States Navy as well as his esteemed position on the Board of Directors for a large Miami banking firm aided his expertise as Senior Vice President.
